FARÉ SuperStaple IIThis line was introduced to provide our customers greater flexibility. The SuperStaple II (two) line uses annular spinnerets and spins downward. It allows the customer to spin finer fibers, down to 0.9 denier per filament. In addition it can also process more polymers than the first generation SuperStaple lines, including polyester and polyamide 6 (nylon 6). Main uses for these lines are in the are of solution dyed fibers and for the regenerated waste industry. Output for the SuperStaple II ranges from approximately 1000 to 6500 pounds per hour. One of the more recent developments include the ability to extrude fiber directly from pre-washed bottle flake without the time consuming and expensive process of drying. This new system reduces power consumption by as much as 0.7 to 0.9 kW/pound (1.5 to 2.0 kW/kg)!
The denier range for the SuperStaple II is 0.9 to 110. To request more information click here. |
